Expo-Filipino – soon to be named Clark Expo, is the most sought after venue for large concerts and shows with its huge sitting capacity of 11,000 people. Recently, the management of Clark Expo has opened the Nayong Pilipino, the country’s top outdoor exposition of famous Philippine destinations, culture, age-old traditions, heritage, and lifestyles.
El Sombrero – a venue for horseback riding, calesa rides, camp-outs for groups and families, cookouts and so much more with the fresh wind, open meadows, wooded areas, and scenic hills.
Golf - for golf enthusiasts, nature has provided Clark a magnificent mountain foothill with a scenic multi-feature 36-hole Mimosa Golf & Country Club.
Mt. Pinatubo – After 600 years of slumber, Mt. Pinatubo, a mountain range in the bounds of Zambales, Pampanga and Tarlac, erupted in June 12, 1991. The volcano has an elevation of 1,745 meters. As it emitted millions of tons of ash and rocks, Mt. Pinatubo’s eruption was considered as one of the world’s largest volcanic eruption in the 20th century.
Today, the volcano crater’s lake has become a tourist attraction. To date, at least 2,000 trekkers have already reached the tranquil yet majestic peak of the volcano. One of the tested routes going to Pinatubo’s caldera is in Sapangbato, Angeles City, another is via Sta. Juliana in Capas, Tarlac.

Off-road to Mt. Pinatubo - Tourists may enjoy a 4x4 all weather terrain vehicle ride to Mt. Pinatubo through the watery and rocky paths which leads to the crater.

Hot Spring – naturally warm spring water cascading from Mt. Pinatubo. It is perfectly suited to visitors seeking the authentic type of leisure. Having a view of nature’s vast expanse of sand and a perfect place for relaxation, only the sound of birds and wild animals break the tranquility of the place.

Native Aeta’s Village – A trail blazed community caused by the lahar citation, commune with the Aeta villagers with barely any electric current and with limited opportunity for elementary education.

Pinatubo Wellness Spa – The spa located right at the foot of the Volcano offers a unique fitness therapy and wellness service such as your regular body massage to a relaxing body wrap with sulfur-laden volcanic sand wherein you will be covered with heated volcanic ash.

- Festivals
- Hot Air Balloon Festival – this is an annual exhibition of hot air balloons, sky diving, micro light demonstrations, small planes fly-bys and fly-ins, remote controlled airplane exhibitions, aerobatics, light airplane balloon bursting competition, ultra light formation flying, and bomb dropping exhibitions, and many more. This is by far the country’s largest aviation sports event today. Participants from all-over the world flies into the Philippines to join their local counterparts in this spectacular event.
- Sisig Festival – this is the signature festival of Angeles City. This event highlights the province’s most famous dish “Sisig”. In the year 2003, the first Sisig Festival cooked more than 600 kg of pork cheek in a giant sizzling plate feeding about 4,000 individuals.
- Baguis Fiestang Kuliat – the people of Angeles City celebrate the whole month of October in observance ot the city’s two major religious feast, the La Naval which honors the Virgin of the Most Holy Rosary and Fiestang Apung Mamacalulu or the Lord of the Holy Sepulcher. The main event of the celebration is the most famous street party named “Tigtigan Terakan King Dalan” (singing and dancing on the streets) which features various musical performances, a local food fest, and other festivities.
Holy Week Activities – This is usually celebrated during the hot summer months of March or April. The province of Pampanga is famous for its emotion packed religious ceremonies reminiscent of Jesus Christ’s passion. Flagellants scourge themselves in midday with ropes and broken pieces of glass in a seemingly paganistic manner, while others opt to be crucified as payment for the sins they have committed. |
